In the sub-Saharan Africa the farming industry is very popular. In order to help this farmers, new ideas must be developed. This can be effectively done by connecting different farmers and relaying information to them about crops. Green-Up Africa will set itself apart from others by creating a platform that can be used by people within the farming sector. Farmers have become by day tech survey, more that 88% of farmers in Kenya alone have access to mobile phone. What this means is that the modes of communication have been improved, it’s easier to for them to receive information right from their remote locations(cnn, 2014).
