I lost my ability to speak intelligibly 3 years ago due to jaw replacement \nsurgery as a result of radiation exposure. This app has restored my ability \nto communicate verbally, particularly by phone using my Samsung tablet and \nLG phone. I contacted the developer with a question and quickly received a \nclear answer - excellent support. I highly recommend this app for anyone \nwith speech limitations. 16 April 2014: I have been using this app for \nabout 6 weeks now and it continues to be a life saver. I particularly like \nthe ability to customize the categories and words/phrases. I have added a \nMedical category with the main points of my history. This is very useful \nwhen visiting a new medical provider. It literally saved my life recently \nwhen I had to call 911 for assistance. Speech
The voice is not part of the app, but the app uses the voice that’s installed on your device. For instance the voices from Google Text-to-Speech. You can change the voice in the settings of your device. You can also download other voices from the Google Play Store from companies like SVOX or Acapela.
