The Walking Pet is a game where you have to try to get your pets to walk as far as they can on two legs. To do this, you’ll have to tap the screen with a very specific ‘tempo’. If you tap too quickly, your pet will fall forwards, and if you tap too slow, it’ll fall backwards.
The Walking Pet is one of those games where you don’t really understand what you need to do but you try anyway. I mean: does it really affect the movement if you tap or not? It seems to me that whatever I do, I do it wrong.
Here, you’re supposed to help the dog walk and advance as much as you can. But keep in mind that the dog will be walking on two legs, which means he won’t last long, unless you help him (and probably, even if you help him).
The gameplay in The Walking Pet is very similar to the brilliant Daddy Long Legs. The main difference is that instead of playing with a long-legged and creepy spider, you’ll be playing with cuter animals like cats, pigs, roosters, and bears. In total, you can unlock some dozen different animals.
At first, it might seem practically impossible to reach the third mark on the floor, but as you play more you’ll find it’s not so hard to make progress and get even further. In fact, at the sixth and seventh mark, you’ll even have to confront obstacles.
The Walking Pet is a game with all the marks of a good Ketchapp release: it’s fun and has a simple gameplay and nice graphics. A perfect game for a few quick rounds, no matter where you are.
Editors Notes:The Walking Pet is obviously well-designed and kind of hilarious. Controls couldn’t be simpler: tap on the screen to make the dog move its legs at the right time and make sure he doesn’t fall too soon.
