The plot isn’t entirely clear from the app alone; reading the developer’s description of a storyline involving a solitary mystic creature and a lost little girl falling from the sky actually adds quite a bit to the experience. It would be great to see this more fully integrated into gameplay. I also found the “hard” versions of each song simply absurd in terms of difficulty, but hey, could be that I just have fat fingers.
The game’s story introduces you to Deemo, a mythical character that lives in solitude in its castle. One day, a little girl falls from the sky, and she doesn’t know who she is or where she came from. In order to help her return to her world, Deemo will have to play the piano. This is where you come in, and you will have to be on your toes and keep the beat.
Deemo includes 33 different songs from different musical genres, as well as 99 variations on them. Many of them are from famous composers. Of course, it’s your job to use your skills and abilities to make the songs really sound like the originals.
