Swing Copters 2 is the sequel to the simple arcade game developed by the creators of Flappy Bird. This time, the game has vastly improved graphics, but keeps almost the same gameplay (though maybe even more difficult, if that’s possible).
Just like in Flappy Birds your goal was to tap the screen to send the bird flapping between the pipes, in Swing Copters 2 you have to tap the screen to change the creature’s direction, so they can move between the swinging hammers.
Again, this is a gameplay that’s not very hard to learn, but extremely difficult to master. It wouldn’t be odd if you couldn’t make a single point after the first 10 to 20 tries, or if after 50 tries you only got two or three.
An important difference between Swing Copters 2 and the first installment is that you can now use the medals you win to unlock new characters. They don’t have special abilities, but they look different visually.
Swing Copters 2 is a simple and very difficult game. Although it can be quite frustrating, it’s great to play in short stints. In the end, the average game probably lasts one or two seconds.
Editors Notes:The retro-style graphics will be appealing for some. The sound effects are also cute and match the gameplay well. The game has a lightweight design and a small footprint. Gameplay is frenetic and fun.
