I’ve been using this app since the print version of the Independent ceased. Initially it was very slow and the layout unclear and irritating. Now, after only a few weeks and what has been obviously major development, it’s completely transformed. It’s now a clean and accomplished digital newspaper and has become my primary news source. Better than the offerings from CNN and the BBC and compares well with the benchmark Guardian App, with the advantage that it’s independent. Highly recommended.
